In Crime No.493 of 2017 : Respondent/ Complainant PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondent police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Manamadurai, Sivagangai in Crime No.493 of 2017 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police within stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.493 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.493 of 2017 has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) IPC by the respondent police on 27.12.2017. But so far, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is substantially completed and final report will be filed shortly.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.493 of 2017 and file a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
