O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is aggrieved by the grant of patta in favour of the third respondent. According to him, it is a waterbody. Therefore, patta has to be cancelled. The petitioner has already moved the first respondent in this regard.

4. The first respondent shall pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent has to necessarily put the third respondent on notice before passing final order.

5. With this direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
