This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the respondents No.1, 3 and 5 to accord permission and the respondents No. 2, 4 and 6 to provide police protection 15.07.2023 and 16.07.2023 to install and for the consecration of the Arulmigu Sir Siddhi Vinayakar Idol at Addidavalasai village, Keezhamangundu post, Ramanathapuram taluk, 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner seeks police protection for installation and consecration of the Siddhi Vinayakar Statue in the petition mentioned temple. The original Vinayakar Statue has been stolen by some body else. 3.The learned Counsel for the newly impleaded respondents submits that by filing this petition and installing the Vinayakar Statue, the petitioner is attempting to get a recognition as if the temple belongs to him.

4. Considering the rival submissions made, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner and the private respondents to approach the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Ramanathapuram. The Joint Commissioner shall take a call on this issue. No costs.
