ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 27.08.2021 and provide police protection to the Manicka Nachiamman Temple Festival scheduled on 26.10.2021 at Kandaramanickam Village, Tiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District and protect the peace, life and limb of the petitioner, his family and the villagers.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a trouble arose between the petitioner and the private respondent with regard to receiving the honour in Manicka 1/3

Nachiamman Temple Festival scheduled on 26.10.2021 at Kandaramanickam Village, Tiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent police.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that dispute arose between the petitioner and the third respondent with regard to receiving the first honour. Since breach of peace is apprehended recommendation is sent by the Inspector of police to Revenue Divisional Officer to conduct peace committee meeting on 25.09.2021.

4.Since the matter has been referred to concerned Revenue Official for undertaking peace committee meeting, the petitioner shall appear before the concerned Revenue Official and participating in the peace committee meeting and depending upon the resolution that can be taken in the peace committee meeting, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
