O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by V. BHARATHIDASAN, J.) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking extension of ordinary leave granted to the petitioner's husband.
2. Earlier, on the application filed by the petitioner, the jail authority has granted 30 days ordinary leave, to the petitioner's husband, by an order dated 24.08.2021. Subsequently, a writ petition was filed by the petitioner, seeking extension of leave. This Court, by an order dated 23.09.2021, has granted one week time and directed the petitioner's husband to appear before the jail authority on or before 30.09.2021, considering the medical ground.

3. Once again, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a further extension of leave to her husband.
4. In the earlier order, we have clearly mentioned that the leave has been extended only on medical ground and the petitioner cannot seek for further extension and we also made it clear that further extension will not be granted. In the above circumstances, the present writ petition for extension of leave is not maintainable and the same is liable to be dismissed. If the petitioner's husband requires any leave, it is always open to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority for appropriate relief.
5. However, considering the above circumstances, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the jail authority on or before 02.10.2021, at 5.00 p.m.
6. With the above observation and directions, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
