ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. The plaintiffs in O.S.No.133 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thanjavur are the revision petitioners. They filed I.A.No.311 of 2020 seeking the relief of injunction. The grievance of the revision petitioners is that even though the said I.A. was filed way back in July 2020, till date, it has not been disposed of. Whenever an interim application of this nature is filed, the duty of the trial court is to give expeditious disposal.

4. Taking into account the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the trial Judge is directed to dispose of I.A.No.311 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thanjavur, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P.(MD)No.1686 of 2021 I make it clear that no opinion has been expressed on the merits of the matter. The only direction given in this petition is for speedy disposal. This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
