Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body and person of the detenue, the petitioner's minor daughter namely Selvarani, aged 17 years, D/o.Pandi before this Court and to hand over the custody to the petitioner.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The petitioner's daughter was born on 29.12.2005 and now aged about 17 years and had gone missing from 26.06.2023 and her complaint in this regard was registered on 27.06.2023 in Crime No.90/2023. Since the respondent police were not able to trace her, the present petition has been filed.

2.Today, when the matter was called, the 2nd respondent had produced the petitioner's daughter before us, who expressed that she intends to live with the petitioner/mother only. She has also given a statement dated 02.08.2023 before the 2nd respondent that she had voluntarily left the house on her own accord, since the petitioner had insisted to get her married against her wishes.

3.Now, since the petitioner's daughter is willing to reconcile with the mother, the grievance of the petitioner has been met. Hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
