ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking for a direction to the second respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.755 of 2016 of Melur Police Station, Madurai District, and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.

2. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station, after concluding the investigation in Crime No.755 of 2016, laid a Referred Charge Sheet (RCS) before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, in RCS.No.176 of 2017. 3.Recording the said submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
