ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Vide order dated 31.03.2023 in W.P(MD)No.2286 of 2023, the Hon'ble Division Bench had directed the Superintendent of Police, Tiruchirappalli, to initiate prosecution in respect of the subject matter. It is stated that, pursuant to the aforesaid direction, Crime No.6 of 2024 was registered by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Thiruchirappalli. It is further stated that investigation was also conducted and report was submitted to the Government for taking suitable action. It appears that recommendation has also been made for taking disciplinary action against the erring officials before the Tribunal for disciplinary proceedings.

2.We are satisfied that the direction given by this Court has been complied with. Copy of the report has also been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. We grant liberty to the petitioner to institute appropriate proceedings as per law.

3.This Contempt Petition stands closed.
