Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to impugned recruitment notification published in Tamil Daily News Paper Dinamani dated 07.02.2016 issued by the third respondent inviting applications to the post of Junior Assistants (3 posts) at the Senthamil Arts and Oriental College, Madurai and quash the same as illegal. ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court challenging the correctness of the impugned recruitment notification published in Tamil Daily Newspaper namely, Dinamani, dated 07.02.2016, issued by the third respondent inviting applications to the post of Junior Assistant(3 posts) at Senthamil Arts and Oriental College, Madurai and quash the same as illegal.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.EV.N.Siva, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent drawing the notice of this Court to the Memo dated 03.06.2016 filed by the 3rd respondent submitted that the petitioner is no more and he has also produced the copy of the Death Certificate dated 14.06.2016 issued by Madurai Corporation.

3.A perusal of Death Certificate issued by Sanitary Inspector Cum Births & Deaths Registrar, Madurai Corporation, shows that Mr.R.Gurusamy, son of Ramalingam, residing at No.63A, Subbiah Thevar Street, Kochadai, Madurai - 625 016, died on 25.05.2016. 4.Placing on record the Death Certificate dated 14.06.2016 issued by the Madurai Corporation, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
