ORDER
The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the 3rd respondent that she has received money from her with a promise to arrange a job for her son and daughter in a Temple and thereafter, she cheated her. Now, the petitioner, with a grievance that the respondent Police has not taken any action on her complaint dated 09.02.2025, has filed this writ petition.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the alleged transaction had occurred in the year 2017-2018. The complaint was directly lodged before the Superintendent of Police, Dindigul, who in turn referred the same for enquiry. The respondent Police have treated the same as petition enquiry on 17.02.2025 and they issued summons to the petitioner as well as the opposite party and also conducted enquiry on 25.02.2025, 05.03.2025, 06.03.2025 and 2/4
10.03.2025 and thereafter, closed the said complaint as it is a money dispute.
3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling her to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
