Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.01.2016 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Honourable Court for a transfer from Mettupalayam to any one of the vacancies available at Tiruchirappalli Corporation limit in the post of Food Safety Officer, on medical grounds of his wife Mrs.S.Jeyanthi working as a B.T.Teacher in Panchayat Union Middle School, V.Chitur, Vadamadurai Union, Dindigul District from 05.09.2005, who is suffering from Chronic hemicranial pain and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo since 2004.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.01.2016 seeking for transfer from Mettupalayam to any one of the vacancies available at Tiruchirappalli Corporation limit in the post of Food Safety Officer, on medical grounds of his wife Mrs.S.Jeyanthi, who is suffering from Chronic hemicranial pain and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, since 2004.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
