Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to expedite the enquiry proceedings in pursuant to the order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in br.K.vz;.26561/2015/vk;5, dated 10.12.2015 by considering the representation given by the petitioner, dated 03.10.2015, 22.01.2016 and 25.01.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for R-1.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as Shop Supervisor-II in shop No.5276, Thirumangalam, Madurai, Madurai District. The petitioner has made a complaint on 08.10.2015 pointing out certain irregularities committed by the authorities working in the respondent Corporation. The same was forwarded to the second respondent for suitable action. The second respondent also by his proceedings, dated 10.12.2015, appointed the third respondent to enquire into the allegations, as Enquiry Officer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he had given representations on 22.01.2016 and 25.01.2016, the Enquiry Officer is not proceeding with the complaint. Hence, he has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to complete the enquiry proceedings within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent Enquiry Officer, is directed to continue with the proceedings in br.K.vz;.26561/2015/vk;5, dated 10.12.2015 and complete the same, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With te above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
