This petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.02.2016 to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal programme Maasi Festival in Sri Alagiya Thiruvettai Ayyanar Kovil at Vedhiyarendhal Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District in which scheduled to be held on 20.02.2016.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.02.2016 has been rejected by the authorities on 14.02.2016 and a copy of the order has also been served on him.
