ORDER
The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the first respondent to conclude the enquiry on the petitioner's application dated 14.09.2015 and dispose of the same within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.S.M.A.Jinnah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Anandaraj, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner said to have filed an application dated 14.09.2015 before the first respondent to cancel the assigned granted in favour of one Kaleemunnisha Begam. After receipt of the said application, the first respondent has also called for the records from the District Collector, to settle the issue by proceedings dated 14.10.2015. Despite that no order has been passed by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.Considering the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending from 2015, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the dated 01.12.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner as well as to the rival claimants if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
