[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 5 to 9 in the Panchayat Streets formed in Survey Nos.235/1 & 253/6 of Upparpatti Village, within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent, on instructions, submitted that there is no encroachment in the subject land, as projected by the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission and leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned, if any further encroachment is noticed, the writ petition is closed. No costs. [R.M.D., J.] [J.S.N.P., J.] 27.10.2022 Index :
