PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam to dispose of the D.V.O.P.No.1 of 2020, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.Chamundi Bose

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam to dispose of the D.V.O.P.No.1 of 2020, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the wife of 1st respondent and they are blessed with two children. According to the petitioner, the respondent and his family members are torturing her and demanded huge amount of money as dowry and the petitioner along with her children were sent to her parents house forcibly and at present they are living in her parental home only. The petitioner is an unemployed person and depending on her retired father for her livelihood. Therefore, the petitioner has filed D.V.O.P.No.1 of 2020 before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam on 24.01.2020, which is pending. The learned counsel would further submit that since there was no interim relief was given to her, she suffered a lot financially particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Hence, the learned counsel would pray for early disposal of the above case. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the respondents is dispenses with.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into consideration that the petitioner is an unemployed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.14675 of 2020 woman, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in D.V.O.P.No.1 of 2020, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
