PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2015 and correct the petitioner's sonin-law name instead of Kapali as P.Edwin in the petitioner's daughter's death certificate and to issue the fresh death certificate within the stipulated time.

Mr.R.Prabhu Ramachandran, learned Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 27.10.2015 through which she sought for correction of the name of the husband of the petitioner's deceased daughter in the death certificate as P.Edwin instead of Kapali. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said application is still pending and no order is passed so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without expressing any claim made by the petitioner, I only direct

the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
