Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The writ petitioner submitted an application to the first respondent seeking issuance of passport. Since two criminal cases have been registered against the petitioner, her application is not being processed. The second respondent clarifies before this Court that the cases registered against the writ petitioner are pending only at the FIR stage. Therefore, there is no impediment for processing the petition mentioned application. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that marriage of the petitioner's son is to be solemnized in Malasiya on 09.09.2022. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to process the petition mentioned application and issue passport to the petitioner subject to the fulfilment of the usual formalities within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
