ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 20.03.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. By consent, this Writ Petition is disposed of, at the admission stage itself.
3. Challenging the punishment of compulsory retirement, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the respondent on 20.03.2025. However, the appeal remains pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 20.03.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
