ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry on the application submitted by him dated 29.04.2025, seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent in respect of the property situated in Survey No.155/1B, with an extent of 16.59 cents, in Keelapavoor Part-I Village, Alangulam Taluk, 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is
passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.The petitioner herein claims right over the subject property in Survey No.155/1 under a settlement deed dated 10.03.2022. According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent was issued with patta in respect of the property covered under the said settlement deed. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent with copies marked to the respondents 2 and 3, on 29.04.2025, seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of the fourth respondent. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be
considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, fourth respondent and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
