ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.06.2024 for the offences punishable under Section 392 I.P.C r/w. Sections 397 and 506(ii) I.P.C, in crime No.298 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused threatened the defacto complainant to take out the money from his pocket and also assaulted him. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 19.06.2024, hence he may be released on bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is yet to be completed and the District Collector/ District Judicial Magistrate, Tirunelveli District, has passed the detention order in No.131/20244 on 23.07.2024, under the Goondas Act. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
