Respondents PRAYER: This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in B.C.D.F.G.I.C.C.C.V. No.24 of 2019 dated 05.08.2019 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner husband's body and person by name Manikandan, S/o Mahamuni aged about 40 years lodged in Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide proceedings in B.C.D.F.G.I.C.C.C.V.No.24 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.819 of 2019 2019, dated 05.08.2019, whereby the detenu, namely Manikandan, S/o Mahamuni, aged about 40 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 05.08.2019 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.3658, HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (IX) DEPARTMENT, dated 23.09.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
