ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in CSR No.317/23 from third respondent to second respondent or to any other competent investigation agency.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner and other family members have jointly purchased land about 20 cents in Survey No.7/10, at Orathanadu, Thanjavur District, which was purchased initially in the name of the petitioner, subsequently, same was settled in favour of his mother as per the document No.116/17 on 13.11.2017. Subsequently in the absence of the petitioner, one Parameswari and Poonguzhali who are the sisters of the petitioner's mother, have taken the petitioner's mother to the Sub Registrar office and got executed a registered sale deed, making her to believe that she was executing a registered mortgage deed for obtaining a loan. The petitioner, on filed a complaint before the first respondent police and the said complaint was transferred to the second respondent, however no 2/4
action was taken. Again the petitioner has sent one more petition to the third respondent and the same was registered as C.S.R.No.317 of 2023 on 10.04.2023, however no action has been taken so far.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the representation of the petitioner is still pending and they will immediately take suitable action basing on that.
4. The same is recorded. The petition is, therefore, disposed of, directing the respondent police to initiate the enquiry and dispose of the petition in CSR No.317 of 2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
