ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application for surveying his land in Old S.No.202/5, New Survey Nos.582/2A, 582/2C, to an extent of 0.10.5 Ares, situated at Kamatchipuram Village, Ramalingampatti, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul, on 23.06.2023 and thereafter, approached this Court for a mandamus.

2.Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the land in S.No.202/5 stands in the name of one Karuppaiah 2/4

Moopanar S/o.Nallamuthu Moopanar. The petitioner's name is Nallamuthu S/o.Muthusamy. Both are different persons. That apart, the petitioner is not having any documents to show that he is the owner of the property in S.No.202/5. Similarly, the properties in S.Nos.582/2A, 582/2C are classified as Temple Lands in the revenue records. None of the properties, for which the petitioner made an application, are standing in his name. Therefore, the application of the petitioner has not been proceeded with. 3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities for correction of revenue records, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. Index :
