Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the impugned Tender Notifications issued in his proceedings in No.A2/2772/2015 dated 08.02.2016 and proceedings in No.A2/2880/13 dated 08.02.2016 in regard to execution of works in the Panchayat Union and quash the both as illegal and arbitrary in purview of Rule 11(4) as well as Rule 20 (1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000 and consequently direct the respondents to follow the procedures contemplated in the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000 in regard to tendering out the works of the Panchayat Union within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records from the second respondent in connection with the impugned Tender Notifications issued in his proceedings in No.A2/2772/2015 dated 08.02.2016 and proceedings in No.A2/2880/13 dated 08.02.2016 in regard to execution of works in the Panchayat Union and quash the both as illegal and arbitrary in purview of Rule 11(4) as well as Rule 20(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000 and consequently direct the respondents to follow the procedures contemplated in the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000 in regard to tendering out the works of the Panchayat Union within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the proposed tender to be conducted tomorrow (18.02.2016) has been now postponed without assigning any date. He further submitted that if further tender notification will be issued, the respondents will go in accordance with law and the petitioner's objection if any will also be taken note of.
