ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2.The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner's daughter namely, A.Stellamary on compassionate grounds suitable to her educational qualification.

3.The case of the petitioner is that her husband was employed as Village Assistant in the office of the second respondent and died in harness on 24.09.2010. She gave an application seeking for compassionate appointment on 22.11.2010 for her daughter. It is submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur on 28.12.2011 directed the second respondent Tahsildar to consider and forward the details to the District Collector, who is the first respondent herein. On 13.02.2012 the second respondent also issued a certificate in Mu.Mu.797/2012/A8, dated 13.02.2012 for getting appointment on compassionate grounds. the petitioner's daughter had not produced any supporting documents. Thereafter, relevant documents have been produced with the authorities, however, there is no response. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition. 4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's husband who was working as a Village Assistant in the office of the second respondent died in harness on 24.09.2010 and that the petitioner has made a representation seeking for compassionate appointment within three years on 22.11.2010, the respondents shall consider the said request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
