PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to provide patta to the petitioners land in Survey No.534, Kulavanikar Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District as per the sale deed in Melapalayam sub-registrar Office Document No.1594/1997 in the petitioners name by considering the petitioners representation dated 22.09.2021 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4
For Petitioner : Mr.R.Bharath For Respondents : Mr.A.K.Manikkam Special Government Pleader O RDER This writ petition has been filed for the issue writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property by considering the representation dated 22.09.2021.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted the written instructions received from the third respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that the petitioner must make an online application for issuance of patta by submitting all the relevant documents and if the same is done, the third respondent is willing to consider the application and pass orders in accordance with law.
3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make an online application to the third respondent along with all the relevant 2/4
documents. On receipt of the same, the third respondent shall deal with the application on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders within a period six weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner.
4.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
