ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.R.Anand Raj, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
2.The petitioner who has completed Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE) in the year 2007 has applied for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher based on Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in August 2013. The petitioner claims that he is the legal heir of freedom fighter namely, one K.M.P.Karuppiah. As per Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.59, Labour and Employment Department, dated 04.05.1999, priority to be given to the legal heirs of freedom fighters and Tamil savants. It is further submitted that he has also obtained necessary certificate from the authorities concerned as legal heir of the said freedom fighter. Hence, claiming priority in the employment under the freedom fighter category, a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ representation has also been submitted to the authorities concerned. Since no order has been passed so far, the petitioner has come up with
the above writ petition.
3.In the light of the above facts and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2015 as per G.O.Ms.No.59, Labour and Employment Department, dated 04.05.1999 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
