ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's application has been closed.
3.I therefore permit the petitioner to submit a fresh application for issuance of passport.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent submitted that there are two cases pending against the petitioner. Both are political in nature. The petitioner wants to visit her children who are presently studied abroad. 2/4
5.As and when the petitioner submits an application, the first respondent shall process the same and issue passport to the petitioner subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities. 6.This writ petition is allowed on these terms. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
