ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.07.2019 for payment of the financial assistance under the Micro/Drip irrigation under "Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) PROJECT" to him, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.S.Mandhiralingeshwaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.In order to get financial assistance for the Micro/Drip irrigation under "Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) PROJECT", the petitioner had given a representation to the respondents on 16.07.2019 and in this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the respondents, on merits and order is passed thereon, within a time to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner though addressed to the first respondent and copy marked to the second and third respondents, the competent authority ie, the third respondent to decide the same. Therefore, he would consider and decide the same on merits, within a time frame.

6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.07.2019 and pass order thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
