Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for R-1 and R-2 and Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel takes notice for R-4.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.01.2016 seeking to correct the mistake in payment orders bearing No.AG (A & E)/PEN P22/3/REV/22203197/PPO, dated 02.08.2013 and to disburse all the attendant benefits within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent has sent a proposal to the second respondent for revision of pension and the same was also approved by the second respondent. The said proposal was forwarded to the fourth respondent for issuing necessary payment orders. The fourth respondent also accepted the proposal and issued payment orders in AG(A & E)/PEN P22/3/REV/22203197/PPO, dated 02.08.2013. While issuing the order, dated 02.08.2013, the fourth respondent had mistakenly issued the said order in the name of the deceased husband of the petitioner herein to receive the benefits. Hence, the Treasury office Madurai had sent back the papers to the fourth respondent for carrying out necessary corrections. The said correction has not been carried out till date despite the lapse of 2 1⁄2 years.

Hence, the petitioner has made a representation time and again. Since the request of the petitioner has not been so far, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief. 5.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.01.2016, and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
