ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to redesignate the petitioner as Junior Assistant from the date of appointment that is from 24.11.2009 by considering the qualification of the petitioner and to grant all benefits in consonance to the same. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.The case of the petitioner is that his father was working as Security Inspector (ASO) in the respondents corporation. He died in harness, while he was in service. Hence, the petitioner made an application to the respondents for appointment on compassionate ground. On receipt of his application, the second respondent by his proceedings dated 28.11.2009, appointed the petitioner as Helper/non ITI trainee. that he would be appointed as Junior Assistant by considering his qualification. Thereafter, several vacancies of Junior Assistants were filled up, but the case of the petitioner was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 02.01.2016 to the respondents to consider his case for appointment to the post of Junior Assistant. But the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the writ petition. 4.Considering the grievance of the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
