The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to Detention Order passed by the second respondent in M.H.S.Confdl.No.99/2024 dated 07.06.2024 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu, namely, Prabhakaran, son of Murugan, aged about 50 years, now detained as "Goonda" at Central Prison, Palayamkottai and set him at liberty forthwith.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.4979, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 25.07.2024, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government. 2/4

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication. This Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
