ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506(ii) in Crime No.681 of 2020, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the first petitioner received a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- from the defacto complainant, promising to give his shop for lease for the period of 2 years to him and thereafter he leased out the same to third parties and cheated the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they are falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.15230 of 2021 4.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.
5.On 21.12.2021, the learned counsel for the petitioners as well the defacto complainant submitted that there was a possibility of settling the issue by Mediation. Hence, this case was posted before the mediation centre and the mediator was directed to file a report before this Court on the next date of hearing. 6.Today, the learned Mediator has filed a report that there is no response from the petitioners side and they did not appeared before the Mediator.
7.Considering the conduct and attitude of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
