O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondent No.2 Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.326 of 2021 on the file of respondent No.2 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner / defacto complainant that basing on a complaint given by the petitioner, the police have registered a case in Crime No.326 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506 (1) of I.P.C. against two accused persons. It is submitted that on account of inordinate delay in completion of investigation, lot of prejudice is caused to him.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that the Police have completed the entire investigation and final report is ready and within a short time, the Police would submit the same to the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court. The same is recorded.

4. Considering the submissions made by both parties, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 Police to file final report before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
