ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondent police to afford necessary police protection since the petitioner is apprehending a threat from the accused persons in Crime No.473 of 2024, this writ petition is filed.
2. The petitioner is one among the victim and hence, sought the indulgence of this Court.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that already investigation in Crime No.473 of 2024 has culminated in filing a final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Thisayanvilai and then transferred to Judicial Magistrate, Radhapuram. However, so far, the petitioner's representation has not been received. On receipt of the same, the petitioner's plight would be considered.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. Since the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) submits that the respondent police had not so far received the representation, the petitioner is directed to give a representation in person to the respondent police forthwith, and on receipt of the same, the respondent police is directed to take care of the safety and security of the petitioner and his family. The petitioner is also directed to forthwith approach the 3rd respondent police, and the 3rd respondent is directed to personally look into the matter and direct the 8th respondent police to ensure the safety of the petitioner and his family. 3/6
