This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.368 of 2016, on the file of the second respondent police registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506 (ii) IPC .

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this is a case and counter. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner's daughter a case was registered in Crime No.367 of 2016, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(i) and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment Act, 2002. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P.(MD).No.1308 of 2018 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that both the complaints, the respondent police have almost completed the investigation and final report yet to be filed. 4.In view of the above, the first respondent is directed follow the procedure laid down under the police standing orders in respect of the counter complaints and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
