ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue Non-Traceable Certificate in respect of the petitioner's document viz., Original Mortgage Deed in Document No.1164/2015 dated 23.07.2015 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Rameswaram, Ramanathapuram District, based on complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.12.2020.

2.The case of the petitioner is that when he was taking the original mortgage deed for the purpose of taking xerox on 30.11.2020, it was found missing near Sub Registrar Office, Rameshwaram. Based upon which he made a complaint on 07.12.2020. Even after lapse of 9 months there is no action. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of the complaint against the missing documents, circular has been issued by the Director General of Police, dated 31.07.2020, must be strictly followed and report from the District https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14846 of 2021 Records Bureau and State Records Bureau must be obtained and it will take some time.

4.Considering the nature of request of the complainant, three months time is granted to the second respondent herein to complete the enquiry and depending upon the out come of the enquiry, further action shall be taken.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
