PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.167 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police 1/3

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1 herein, who was arrested on 17.10.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 454, 380 and 302 of IPC, later Section 114 of IPC is inserted, in Crime No.167 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.This is the second bail application filed by the petitioner before this Court. Considering the gravity of the offence only, the earlier application came to be dismissed.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that for more than 272 days the petitioner is in custody. Now the final report has also been filed. The committal process has also been over. Pending trial before the I Additional District Judge, Virudhunagar, in S.C.No.336 of 2023, even though the petitioner is in custody for more than 272 days, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. He has to face the trial.

4.Let the above said trial process be completed by the trial Court within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/3
