O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on a complaint made against the petitioner's husband.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during 2017, the husband of the petitioner received money from several persons assuring them to get a job in abroad and later cheated. Based upon the complaint given by some 3rd parties, the petitioner was called for enquiry and on 02.08.2021, she appeared and also gave a statement to the effect that she separated from her husband and does not know about his whereabouts. Even after the above statement, frequent trouble has been made by the second respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the complaint given by one Sakthivel, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, it was found that husband of the petitioner was in abroad and on behalf of her husband, the petitioner appeared and gave an undertaking that she will repay the amount that has been received by her husband on or before 02.10.2021 and she also undertook to renew the promissory note that has been executed. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15342 of 2021 petitioner, the complaint has been closed. Since the complaint has been closed, nothing survives for further consideration or direction.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and placing on record the copy of the closure report, this petition is disposed of as infructuous.
