records pertaining to the impugned Advertisement No.497 Notification No.10/2018, dated 25.05.2018 on the file of the Respondent No.4 and quash the same as illegal to the extent of restricting the educational qualification of a pass in the two years Diploma Course in Horticulture neglecting the qualification of a pass in the two years Diploma Course in Agriculture and consequently to direct the Respondent No.4 to permit the petitioner with the educational qualification of a pass in Higher Secondary Examination and a pass in the two years Diploma Course in Agriculture from the Gandhigram Rural Institute, to participate in the recruitment process for recruitment to the post of Assistant Horticultural Officer within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned Advertisement No.497 in Notification No.10/2018, dated 25.05.2018 by the 4th respondent and quash the same as illegal to the extent of
restricting the educational qualification of passing a two years Diploma Course in Horticulture.
2. Counter affidavits have been filed by the respondents.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent.
4. On perusal of the proceedings sheets, it appears that no interim order was passed by this Court. This writ petition is pertaining to the year 2018.
5. In view of the fact that the entire selection process is completed, no purpose will be served by further adjudication in this writ petition. 6.1. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
6.2. No costs.
