ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.272 of 2015 dated 07.09.2015 and to file the Final Report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.272 of 2015 which was registered for the offences punishable under Section 147, 294(b), 506(i) and 406 of IPC and 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even after a lapse of six years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that within 3 months, investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court. 4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14832 of 2021 report within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
