ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN, J.) This Writ Petition challenges the order under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'). A proceedings under Section 7 of the Act is only a show cause notice. It will be followed up with an executable order under Section 6 of the Act. 2.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5 represents that an order under Section 6 of the Act was passed on 06.07.2023. He further submits that he will serve the copy of the said order on the learned counsel for the petitioner by today itself. 2/4

3.In view of the above, since the order under Section 6 of the Act is an appealable order under Section 10(a)(1)(a) of the Act, granting 15 days time to the petitioner to file an appeal, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
