This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct the Sri Valli Thirumanam Drama on 15.07.2023 and Rekla Race on 16.07.2023 in the light of 8th Varudapisegam in Periya Ayyan Kovil situated at Sunnambur, Poonjuthi Post, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representations, dated 02.06.2023 and 03.06.223.
