This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the First Information report dated 16.06.2017 in Crime No.81 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pathamadai Police Station, Pathamadai, Tirunelveli District and quash the same as illegal and devoid of merits forthwith.

Crl.O.P (MD) No.1930 of 2018 completed the investigation in Crime No.81 of 2017 and also filed a final report before the officers concerned. Therefore, he submitted that nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P.(MD) No.828 of 2018 is closed.
