O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants to conduct the petition mentioned event in the petition mentioned survey number.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that the petition mentioned survey number is a Government poramboke. It has also been chosen for setting up a TANGEDCO sub-station. The apprehension of the respondents is that if the permission sought for is granted, the petitioner 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.18346 OF 2022 may lay claim in future. To allay the concerns expressed by the respondents through their counsel, if the petition mentioned site is chosen for setting up the sub-station, they will not oppose the same. After the event is conducted, they will remove all the articles including the bell that has been put up on the site in question. The organisers of the event are ready to abide by any condition that may be stipulated by the second respondent to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

4. Recording the undertaking given by the petitioner through his counsel, the second respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to conduct the petition mentioned event on 15.08.2022. The organisers of the event are directed to adhere to the conditions that may be stipulated by the second respondent. If the event is over, all the articles including the bell that has been installed on the land shall be removed by the organisers.

5. With this direction, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
