Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent Police Station and file the charge sheet before the learned Additional Mahila Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to expedite the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2021 pending on the file of respondent No.2.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner / defacto complainant has filed a complaint against her husband and other persons alleging that the accused have committed offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 506 (1) of I.P.C. r/w. Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and Section 92 (a) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a physically challenged person and on account of delay in completion of investigation, lot of prejudice is caused to her.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that they have completed the entire investigation and they will file the charge sheet before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks. The same is recorded.

Considering the circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2021 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 17.07.2023 NAC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No tsg To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District, Virudhunagar.
