ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in STC.No.616 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivakasi, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial, within a time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the accused is evading the trial and therefore, non-bailable warrant has been issued, twice. The warrant was subsequently recalled, but he is not cooperating for the trial and the learned Judicial Magistrate is also granting time and there is no progress in the trial. 3.The case is of the year 2024. The petitioner may not be aware of the pendency of the cases before the concerned Magistrate Court. Courts are expected to take up the cases only on chronological basis. Preference cannot be given to the petitioner's case alone. Since the petitioner claims 2/4

that the case is pending without any progress, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivakasi is expected to show some progress in STC.No.616 of 2024. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
