ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to fence and protect his property in Survey No.122/4B situated at Paachikkottai Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District and to protect his life and limb based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.06.2026 within a time stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent a representation seeking action against the fifth respondent for the offences of land grabbing, cheating, forgery, impersonation and criminal intimidation. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed. 2/4

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that enquiry is pending on the petitioner's representation and the same would be concluded shortly.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 09.06.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
